Simple Webcam Capture 1.3

Simple Webcam Capture was designed to be an easy to use application that's supposed to capture screenshots from a streaming camera and, in order to tackle the issue in a more efficient way, there are some additional goodies included.

The interface is pretty straightforward and, to guide users through the whole screenshot capturing process, it even comes with four numbered steps and intuitive features.

First of all, the user has to choose an image capture device which should actually be the webcam currently connected to your computer. If you have more than one capture installed on your PC, choose the one you intend to use and skip to the next step.

If you wish to save the captured photos in a given folder, you must enable the 'Capture to File' feature that also gives you the power to place a suffix in the filename and also adjust JPEG quality.

The third step is actually an option because Simple Capture also supports timed snipping, which means it can take a new screenshot at a given interval.

Last but not least, there's the option to choose a hotkey that will enable you to take screenshots on the go, without the need of opening the app every time.

The application runs on low computer resources, which means your system should be able to handle it without glitches.

All in all, Simple Webcam Capture is probably one of the easiest ways to take screenshots using your webcam as a source. The feature pack is sufficient but not very impressive, so overall, it does what it's supposed to and nothing more.
